Meet the Team

Ashley Morgan

Ashley is our lead forecaster for Ohio Weather Network. She has a degree in Geoscience with a concentration in broadcast and operational meteorology. She earned her degree from Mississippi State University. Ashley is member of the National Weather Association and the American Meteorological Society. Although, Ashley has a big passion for weather, she loves to do various activities outside of forecasting and monitoring the weather. Ashley loves traveling to new places and photography. She loves spending time with her two fur baby kitties Bender and Fry and spends time with her partner. She is a desk agent full time at a hotel.

David Saurer

Forecaster

My name is David Saurer, I am 49 (June) from the city of Parma (suburban Cleveland). I am a self- learned forecaster and studied meteorology in college. I have lead numerous weather groups in the past and have been a consultant for numerous meteorologists and colleagues. I am well-known throughout the meteorological community as a dependent, accurate, humbled, and always willing to learn from my peers and elders. I look forward to assisting our amazing team with accuracy and teamwork.

Amber Morgan

Lead Forecaster/Owner (Ohio Valley Storm Center)

Hello, My name is Amber Morgan and I am the owner and lead forecaster for Ohio Valley Storm Center. I just graduated from Arizona State University with my bachelors degree in Geographical Information Science. I currently work full time as a room inspector at a hotel but I am in the process of getting my foot in the door for jobs within my career field. While I hold a degree in Geographical Information Science, I love the weather and enjoy everything about it. I am excited to grow my knowledge of the weather with assisting Ohio Weather Network, along with growing my page Ohio Valley Storm Center.
