We are keeping an eye on multiple rounds of wintry precipitation that will impact our area over the next couple of days. We are going to break down the different weather systems that will impact our area.
A strong low pressure system is expected to lift through the Ohio Valley and into parts of New England. With it will be a chance for wintry precipitation to impact the area.
In fact, we will be dealing with some of the precipitation over much of the Great Lakes region, including Ohio. Much of Ohio will see some light snow moving through the area, especially Saturday and into late Saturday evening. Areas into southern Ohio will likely see mainly a rain and snow mix.
As of right now, snow accumulations for Ohio will stay light. Most locations will pick up around 1 inch or less. Some localized higher totals are possible. Could see some areas in northwestern and western Ohio pick up a little over 1 inch of snow through Saturday.
